I wish zero stars was an option. Hostess seemed like it was a problem seating us. Then the waiter barely acknowledged us. Final straw was when the bartender could not make a simple drink and waiter told us this was all we can do. We walked out before ordering. With so many great options for dinner, as well as other places to spend money, why would anyone subject themselves to a torturous evening at Summer Salts. I will never go back.

Our family stopped by for the first time this afternoon. Absolutely awesome! The staff, owner, etc. Food was incredible. If you have a chance do stop by. You will not regret it.

Go elsewhere. Things go wrong but if you have a big table spending $200 and one app is a undercooked mushy mess and wont just take it off the bill you are probably making other questionable choices so no thanks. Everything else was mediocre so go to another spot nearby- too many to choose from

Try it soon, I can't imagine it will last long. Uninspired fish tacos, fish appears to have come from a bag of frozen filets. Caesar salads just middling lettuce and what appeared to be bottled dressing. Special over spiced to point of inedibility. At least they have a decent selection of microbrews on tap. Maybe just go for a beer.

Great brunch! Omelets were huge and wonderful. Great addition to Bethany. Nice price, fast service.

Service is prompt and friendly. Food that we had was very good, much better than expected. Relatively small venue with neighborhood atmosphere. Tried the Buffalo tenders. Lightly fried, definitely not over cooked. Hot Enough to taste the heat but not too hot for the wife. Wife had the seafood Alfredo with linguine. It was better than expected. It was a light sauce not smothered in a creamy sauce as in many places. The salad was crisp and fresh. My only dislike was the ice water had an odd flavor probably from the tap. The Cabernet and Sierra Nevada red IPA were both very good. Plan to come back.

This place is a major upgrade over the dark, dingy place that used to be there. Everything has been renovated and upgraded. I had the crab cake, which was yummy. Even though, I sat at the bar (bartenders were really nice and personable, btw), there were a lot of families there that seemed to be enjoying themselves. Good food, good service, good atmosphere.

They make the best crab cakes in Delmarva. Their fries are also superlative, as are their very stuffed sandwiches. Have eaten there several times and have never been disappointed. Just hope they've made it through this lousy winter.

The family stopped in here on a whim for dinner one night and were very pleasantly surprised. It's not gourmet eating by any stretch of the imagination, but no one was disappointed by their meal. It's a nice mix of traditional fare and a few (delicious) oddities thrown in (prime rib I'm looking at you). Totally worth seeking out. The price alone made it a guaranteed return trip when we come back next year.

Awesome place! Food is great with delicious specials, and we love the staff. If you are staying at Sea Colony, you cannot beat the convenience. It is the best restaurant in the marketplace!

We ate here on a Saturday evening and had no trouble getting a table. The kids menu was pretty good, my daughter had the Mac and cheese and it was excellent. I had the grilled buffalo chicken wrap which was pretty good. My wife had a salad and it was your typical salad. Only negative was the fries were a little soggy. The waiter was excellent.

Been there several times and will be back again! If you like authentic fish and chips this is the place! You want gourmet try the ahi tuna appetizer. Amazing menu selection considering the size of the restaurant. Staff and owners are very friendly.

It feels more pub than cafe. We only had one appetizer which was ok. Out of ten draft beers, none was dark. One of the beers we had was flat. We had to walk over to the bar to pay the bill.

This restaurant just opened in the Sea Colony Marketplace, Bethany Beach and it is a winner! The inside is decorated in a tastefully beachy style and they have a nice bright bar for the cocktail crowd. As for the food, everything we ordered as excellent. Started with zucchini fries with ranch dressing plus cream of crab soup. Soup was delicious and contained lumps of crabmeat. I ordered the mussels which were wonderful and they were cooked just right with yummy broth. My friend had the chicken parm. sandwich and it was great also. Wonderful new local restaurant and definitely worth the trip!!

We went to this place late night around 10. The place and bar itself is fine, but the clientele was a rude bunch. It was not a good experience.

So delicious! I called to get a reservation because we had a party of 10 abd it was no problem. It's not really a place that needs a reservation, but with 10 it was a necessity. As you can imagine with 10 people, including 4 kids there were a few picky eaters. No problem, they had food to satisfy everyone, including my vegetarian wife. They even asked if they could bring the kids food first. I had the ahi tuna wrap and it was amazing. Others had the Flatbreads, salads and other dishes. No complaints not even from tired and whiney kids. Oh, and our server Harry was so great. He handled the large party with ease. As mentioned in other reviews it is on sea colony property in the strip mall across from the main complex.

We gave this restaurant a chance. Only 2 months in biz and have lots to smooth out. We're told that since all college staff back in college, understaffed. Kitchen messed up orders. And food was really bad. Wanted it to be good, but just wasn't.

Good place to go and just do me... That omelet I had must have been made by the hands of God. 5 stars only because 6 was not an option, and the chef looked sober!!!

Meh. Not sure what this place is trying to be- it's a cafe (it's in its name) but has a bar. The decor is confusing- part beachy (expected) part industrial (metal tables and bartop) part Saved By the Bell 'The Max.' (Interesting color choices and hand paintings on the wall.) The weirdest in all the decor choices is the all-metal bathroom- felt like I was on the set of Orange is the New Black. And, I think due to all the metal in there, or maybe because it backs up to the kitchen, the bathroom is boiling hot. So strange. Food was just ok. I didn't find it to be anything exciting, especially for the price point.

Really cute little place to sit and relax. Great raspberry ice tea if you water it down so its not to sweet. Really tender and yummy fries. Not so impressed by the salad but they have a great selection. And the waitress was really sweet.

I went here for dinner and the food was actually pretty good. Unfortunately, we came back to the bar later. I ordered a drink I had gotten at dinner earlier and this time it came in a glass cup instead of a plastic cup, pretty normal. I took it outside to one of the outdoor tables and hung out with my friends. I ended up drinking about half of it before I accidentally dropped the cup and it broke. I felt bad and picked up the big pieces, told someone who I thought was a waitress, and then left. About an hour later, we were walking back to the house and passed the bar. I do not know if it was an owner, or just a bartender, but he began berating me and my friends about this cup, asking if I stole it. I told him I didn't have it anymore and he proceeded to yell at us and call us faggots. Real classy. I ended up getting my credit card bill today and they charged me $5 for the broken glass.

So this was terrible. Our food literally never came out. The owner told us the chefs showed up too drunk to cook the food and kept breaking our eggs. Seriously, that's what happened.

I would have given this place a 5, but there were too many flies inside the restaurant and no egg whites. Otherwise our waiter was nice, our seafood omelette was delicious and we liked the decor! Would come here again!

Hate to go against the grain here. I really did want to like this place. But it seems like they got a few kinks to iron out. The Ahi Tuna appetizer: Was decent. Tuna could use a little more searing on each side. I know it's suppose to be seared rare, but it wasn't even that. I liked how it came with seaweed salad. And I thought that the wasabi ranch was nice. The thing that bothered me was my entree. The southwest chicken salad. It was just so subpar in every way. 1. Iceberg lettuce: Let's get a little mix going here. 2. Blackbeans: Straight out of the can. I mean, not even drained or washed. Still had the thick black goo stuff that comes in the can. 3. Corn: Straight out of the can. This could use a little char and seasoning. Super easy to do, makes a huge difference. 4. Avocado: under ripe 5. Chicken: Clearly those precut boneless chicken strips from the grocery. Seasoned and sauteed. Not the worst, but salad could use more then 2-3 of these strips cut up. 6. Tortilla Chips: Would be nice if they were freshly made. 7. Salsa: Obviously store bought/ pre made. 8. Dressing: Liked the dressing. Now, I know that I just tore that salad apart. But that's what I was thinking... It's ok to have one mistake... but so many glaring technical mistakes made me feel like, "come on guys". Mother's fries were soggy and not fresh. Her taco could have used a nice fresh slaw instead of a thick cheese layer. Fish & Cheese, not the best combo. Atmosphere of the restaurant was fantastic. I really liked it. It also seem like our server really cared about what he was doing. I hope that you take some of my criticism constructively, I love the concept, just the execution was a little lacking.
